I haven't had any contractions and nothing painful yet except for round ligament stretching. And I'm wondering if I'll ever have these contractions.
Is it normal to go through a whole pregnancy without experiencing these?

During my first pregnancy I never felt anything before actually going into full blown labour, last pregnancy i felt them very rarely and only in the last week, this time i've been feeling them for the last couple months and frequently the last week or so.

I started having contractions about 3-4 days before DD was born. They started out very mild and a couple hours apart, then increased in strength and frequency until I was in full blown labour 14 hours before she was born. I did not experience any other contractions during my pregnancy.

your uterus constantly is contracting (usually very mildly) during your entire pregnancy. Some women notice it, others do not. No big deal. :)

I never noticed any with my first either. This pregnancy I've felt them since around 6 months.

I'm at 30.5 weeks right now (first pregnancy), and haven't felt any BH contractions yet. You're not alone! :)
