I use Abode Photoshop Elements. I custom designed the dots background a while ago in four different color schemes -- that took me ages to do -- the rest was not that hard, but I used to work as the university photographer's assistant in college (the guy who takes all the viewbook and university publicity pictures) so I had a lot of experience with photoshop tricks. It's nothing you couldn't figure out with online tutorials, though. I love that I can work on photo design with one of my girls in my lap!

You want lame? This is my cop-out birth announcement. It's the picture the hospital took right after he was born, and the picture kind of sucks, and the announcements are kind of cheesy but I have absolutely no mad graphics skills and we can't seem to get any good photos of the little guy. Now he has baby acne and the folks in Canada (my husband is Canadian and I have no family, except friends) can't wait for us to get out sh*t together.
Anyway, we chose the Bugs theme:
