Sending but no receiving PM's?

I received a PM from someone is answer to one of my threads on here. It seemed a little weird so I tried to email back to find out what was up... but I got a message saying they couldn't receive PM's.

So, how can someone not receive PM's, but still send them? I see an option to disable PM's completely, but nothing that lets you choose.

Either the person's account was disabled, their PM privilege removed, or they disabled PMs after sending one to you. I can't really say which without knowing who it was and that would be something you could discuss with me privately. If you want you can PM me about it. :)
