HEALTHY BABY!!!

WOO-HOO!!

oh, yeah, and it's also a BOY! :D

I have to admit, I LOVED going to an ultrasound and seeing the baby, I mean HIM (!) move around and getting to see tiny feet and all...

We were considering trying not to tell anyone, or at least waiting until the shower, but after we found out we were so excited that we had to talk to people! So, we're not going to wait. Plus, it's a boy, so I don't have to worry about getting pink frilly dresses as gifts. :D I would have been totally happy either way (!!) but there's something about knowing the gender, for me, that makes it a little more real - WE'RE HAVING A BABY!! :D

I totally get you. It felt so much better knowing baby wa okay. And finding out we're having a boy was teriffic. Hubby calls my tummy Matthew now and really likes the idea of having a son. Plus this will be the first grandson on either side of the family. The last boy born in his family was his 16 year old cousin and the last one with his last name was him. His parents will flip I'm sure, as will mine.

Every once in a while it hits me. We're having a baby. I'm going to be a mother. My son. Ahhh, the good life!

Somehow, knowing more info about the baby makes it seem more "real" somehow. We're waiting on the name thing until after he's born, but it definitely will help us narrow down our choices, since we had mostly girl names anyways!
