Ok, I think this is the answer to my earlier post about how to use a booster with the type of seatbelts in my car. Does anybody know where I can buy a belt shortening locking clip (heavy duty kind)? Thanks.

While it may look like a regular locking clip, a heavy duty locking clip is intended for use to shorten lap belts which have retractors that do not lock, such as Emergency Locking Retractors (ELR). Belt-shortening/heavy duty locking clips can only be obtained through a vehicle manufacturer.

The lap belt is ALR and the shoulder belt is ELR and they are sewn onto the latchplate. To get them from the manufacturer is there a site where I can order them online or would I have to go to an actual car dealership and order?
