So, my inbox is full, how can I save stuff I want to keep?

I have a bunch of things in my in-box that I want to keep and I don't know how to save them elsewhere on my computer. I know it sounds l like a silly question, but I am truly "computer challenged". :lol

Here's what I've tried so far:

1) Opening a PM and bookmarking it. When I went back to the bookmark, I couldn't open anything (I had deleted it from my inbox :irked: )

2) I opened the pm and highlighted the info I wanted to keep and attempted to cut and paste to my e-mail in hopes of e-mailing myself (I keep a folder there with stuff I'm interested in). This also did not work.

Any suggestions? I really need to clear my in-box out!

Go to your Private Messages. Scroll to the very bottom to where it says:

http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/tutorials/pm.jpg

Click on the Text link. That will download the contents of your PM box to your desktop. You can then delete your messages from your PM box in your UserCP.
