It took a while, but I finally got this week's hcg number. 10,600.
Down from 24,000 last week. Somehow I had hoped for a lower numbers, but at least it is down.
I asked the nurse about having a cervix check, to see whether it was still open or closed, and a check to see whether the uterus was going back to its non-pregnancy size. She had to ask the doctor. She called back half an hour later, telling me that if I wanted a D&C, I could make an appointment, no problem.... Geez!
I didn't want a d&c, I just want to know whether things are progressing normally, since I am still bleeding quite a lot on day 10. So I politely refused the d&c, and thanked her and called my midwife LOL. She said to try using blue cohosh and see whether that would get anything more happening. Then call Fri morning and she could see me that day to check if needed.
