I have already settled on getting a Britax Boulevard for ds. I was going to buy it last month at BRU but we waited for some reason. I was just online tonight to order one...
Is it my imagination (lack of braincells, maybe), or did the price go up??? I honestly don't recall it being 299.99. But it is that price on EVERY website (and many of them are out of stock).
It is my understanding that Britax are not usually on sale. Anyone know anything about a good deal anywhere? I need to get one ASAP (I fear I have waited too long and ds may already be over the weight limit on his Snugride :bag: ).

Holy friggin' frijole. . they raised the prices again! From what I can tell, the prices have gone up $20 for everything and the new prices were effective 1/1/06.
I bought a Boulevard and Decathlon a few months ago (Nov, I believe) and they weren't that much! Those seats were pricy to begin but this is getting ridiculous.
For what it's worth, pretty much the only good deal you can get nowadays is free shipping. Unless you can get some sort of coupon code to the store in and of itself, but it won't be for the seat specifically. Britax decided earlier last year that they wouldn't authorize anyone to sell their seats of they didn't stick to the MSRP. Blah. If you plan on buying two seats, Babies R Us has a "twin" discount. Essentially, buy two of any "large" item (doesn't have to be the same model) and receive a 10% discount off both. For us, even after you factor in tax, it came out a little better than buying online.
If you look hard enough, though, you might find a website that is selling a seat with a discontinued pattern. . .they are usually considerably discounted.
Good luck!

Well, at least I'm not going crazy!!! But I'm kicking myself for not buying it in December as planned.
Thanks for the response. Yeah, I was planning to buy it online and it seems like just about everywhere has free shipping. I think there's a website somewhere with lots of online coupons???? Hmmmm.
10% off would come out better than tax. Technically, we should get 2 carseats I guess (we have 2 cars). Wasn't planning to, but maybe that's the way to go.
