sitz bath?

is anyone planning on using a sitz bath postpartum? and if so, are you going to use an herbal mixture to add to it?

i bought a sitz bath for the toilet today, and i don't know if using herbs is helpful. i would like to know if i could put my own herbs together as the prepared mixtures are upwards of $20...

You know I haven't even thought about it.I have heard of herb mixtures that sooth. I can't remember the site that had it on there. I'm sure if you googled for it you could find something that works. Or you could ask on the health board. Sorry I'm not much help. Just wanted to let you know someone was listening.

I think that on some of the birth supply websites I went to it said what was in their herbal mixture. www.inhishands.com and www.cascade1.com were the 2 I looked at, I think.
