I am 34wks pregnant and I just got regected by my midwives. They thought it over and they feel like it would cause them too much stress knowing that I have had 2 previous c-sections, that it would be a higher risk and blah, blah, blah. Anyway there are only 4 midwives in Puerto Rico. The first 2 midwives I called said NO months ago and now the other 2 that seemed to want to help me suddenly had a change of mind. I know that it's because they got together to talk about my case and the first 2 mv's ended up scaring the other 2 that were going to help me. One of them is riskier and was willing to help but she feels stuck because the other 3 would really kill her if she attended me and something went wrong. They don't want to end up on the news or anything like that.
Now what? I don't want to end up in the hosp. Dh isn't into UC, either. Does anyone know of a birth center that would help me VBA2C in the US this late in my pregnancy? Just when I thought everything was finally working out, poof my plans disapeared.
