I promise I'm not an attention whore =) I'm just really glad to find other mamas in the area!
My son is turning one in two weeks, and my mom would like to buy him a rocking horse. We're transplants to the area (about 60 miles west/tad-south of Sioux Falls) and I'm not really sure if there's anywhere around here that I could find one. I've done google searching, but if there's a carpenter in the area that I can support, I'd like to do that.
So... do any of you know of anyone (hopefully east-river) that makes all-wood rocking horses? How about other wooden/natural toys? I was all excited to have a baby to shop at Learning Express in Sioux Falls, but the store closed and now I'm at a loss. If not in SD, do you have a site that you would recommend then?
