So I went to my dr. yesterday and I have gained 9 pounds in water weight in the last two weeks. She is now watching my bp. It is a little elevated for me 125/87, it lowered once I laid down during my nst test. My babe is fine, I am miserable. I had the worst leg pain imaginable last night, the night before it started, but last night was hell. My ankles, calves, and knees ached, and when I moved my uterus and back would join in.Not fun. :( When I woke up this morning I am very swollen so now I am worried. I took my bp it is 118/82 so not high, but I was wondering if anyone else was having leg pain due to swelling?? And should I be watching for something else??
I could be over doing it my ds turned two yesterday and I have been planning a b-day party for today. So maybe that is it. OMG I can't beleive my baby is 2 :lol

My legs have been feeling achy and swollen a lot lately. One knee hurts if I step wrong. Last week there was a day where I was sure I either was coming down with something or was going into labor, I was so sore all over and bloated and lethargic. But nothing came of it. I think I just had overdone it the 2-3 days before that plus my allergies were acting up. I'm not on my feet all day long or anything, but by nighttime my legs are just spent. Oh, and I get a lot of calf cramps in bed lately, too.
If I could just lay down and get professionally massaged a couple hours every day, I'm sure it'd be much better...is that really so much to ask? :lol

I've had sciatic nerve pain (shows up in my upper leg) on and off this pregnancy & last. DH massages the upper part of my leg/lower part of my butt & that *really* helps. (I too would love to go for a professional massage but massage by DH is what's in the budget ;) I just remind him I'm saving us $80 :lol
I also have ankle swelling, and my midwife recommended a B-complex supplement, which has really helped. I've noticed a definite difference.
Gentle stretching should help too for the leg cramps (http://www.marchofdimes.com/pnhec/159_15292.asp).

Ok so glad I'm not the only one, but man this bites. My legs hurt so bad. I hope this ends soon. I can't wait to see my babygirl and leave this behind me.

My hands and feet are hugely swollen-just disgusting. I get a prickly feeling across my feet and ankles frequently in the afternoon. I think it is probably related to the swelling. Hoping this goes away shortly after delivery!
