new mama saying hello!

hi all,

i posted something for the first time today, so i thought i better introduce myself ... my name is mary and i have a baby boy who was born september 20, 2002 ... at home, surrounded by family and midwives ... his name is hector mukwa and his dad's name is patrick ... i love mothering mag and was so happy to find that this site had discussion boards ... whenever i am getting the pressure from my family re: solids, breastfeeding, vaccinations, etc. i come here and read ... it just reaffirms what i know is right ... so thanks to everyone for offering such a great forum!

I'm so happy to be here as well. I'm Sara and just received my july / august issue of Mothering and I'm so thrilled! I'll post more later though after I've read a lot of the threads and discussions!
