Okay, I just picked up my med records today and I found my operative report for my CS. I am not up on medical jargon, but I could understand this part. It is just vague. It reads:
"The lower uterine segment incision was then closed with 0 Vicyl in a running interlocking fashion. There was noted to be a small vertical extention on the right edge of the incision that was closed in a similar fashion."
What does this mean? A small vertical tear? How small? I am not sure if I will ever have answers to those questions, but my question here is, does this affect my VBAC in any way? There is no other mention of the "vertical extention" in any other part of the operative report. It doesn't sound to me like they made a vertical incision, but that I tore a little vertically. Not sure what that means for me. BTW my doctor never mentioned it to me and we discussed VBAC numerous times after the CS.
Sorry to ramble, I am just a little freaked out. :crying Any advice, suggestions and calming voices would be welcome, Thank you!
