and I can barely walk. Let alone care for my 2yo.
I've got what seems to be some sever ligament pain in the right side of my belly. I've had it off and on for about a week now. But in hte past it has always come and gone after an hour, then I'd be fine the rest of the day. Today I'm really in pain and it's not going away.
anyone else have this? could it be a precursor to labor?
I'm 38 weeks now...

Maybe baby did some shifting. Sorry you are hurting. Gotta say wish my baby would get a little excited and make an appearance!! I'm 39 weeks today. She is just nestled in for the long haul. Little stinker.

I'm 39 weeks today too & the ligament on my left especially is killin' me! I think she's just pushing on me differently, I woke up with it hurting. I'm walking/standing funny I guess because my husband took a look at me & asked what was up (I must look ridiculous). Hopefully she will shift her weight again tonight & give me a break tomorrow :) I don't think it's a prelabor sign though. Good luck mama, I hope your ache goes away!

I'm 39 weeks too. I'm due on the 8th, I walk funny and my pelvis feels like at any minute it may seperate without notice. Standing up is a joke and walking is not fun. My little girl is a stinker too, I think she may never come out. too warm and comfy.

Have you tried using a support belt? You can get them at Motherhood. They really help with ligament pain for me.

thanks for your replies!
I think just taking a rest is my best bet to cure this. DH also suggested a support belt, but we don't have motherhood here. :( we're going to get busy and walk and do other things this weekend to hopefully speed things along :lol wish me luck!
