What is your co-sleeping position?

When I co-sleep with DD, I am usually lying on my side with one arm out. Lately I have been finding this position is a bit uncomfortable. I've also tried sleeping on my back, but that seems to increase back pain.

Just wanted to know...what is your co-sleeping position?

I cosleep with two, so Im flat on my back, often with an arm under each one for nursing, or, when they roll over and sleep, my arms are up and crossed over the top of my head so that they are out of the babies way. Its not really comfy but not too bad. I have a tempurpedic mattress so that dramatically decreases the kinks and soreness I use to get being stuck in position all night long!

i sleep with my little guy up against my back. he sort of snuggles up. he would be spooning me if he were, you know, bigger than a loaf of bread.

my partner sleeps on his back with his arm out a bit and the little guy sleeps on his back with the top of his head in my partner's armpit.

I start out on my side with one arm out too.

Sometime in the night, I flip over and curl up in a ball.

I lie on my side with my newborn DS sleeping in the crook of my arm and DD curled up against my back. DD likes to snuggle up really close, she has tried on occasion to get into my pjs with me!:love

Before I had children I needed lots of space to sleep. I couldnt even sleep cuddled up to DH. Now I love snuggling close to my little nurslings.:love

I'm usually on my side with my arm up, too. The postion I desperately want to sleep in??? On my tummy! I haven't slept that way since...I don't know...before I was pregnant, I guess!

My hubby can sleep any way he wants to, because our son rarely ventures over onto his side.

I sleep on my side with one arm around the top of ds and the other accross him. He's usually on his side because he falls asleep nursing. Most of the time I end up on my back eventually, and when I wake up, I have ds snuggled into my armpit with his arm locked securely around an exposed breast. :lol Dh thinks it's the funniest thing! :)

DH sleeps on his back with his arms outstretched and a child in each armpit,
then next to them is me and one more curled up together. Its kind of potluck which kid gets an armpit and which gets to curl up.
