Twice as nice

Found out that I'm pregnant last weekend :surprise: . I am really excited :jumpers: but at the same time a little scared. This was not a planned pregnancy and I am not sure if the father is going to stick around. He was adamantly against keeping it, but I simply cannot go through with the alternative, so I just told him that I will have it with or without him. I really do want him around and I truly believe that he will be once he has some time to do a bit of thinking (he has a rediculous fear of commitment).

Can anyone suggest:
1. some helpful books or other resources for me about pregnancy, and
2. something for him to read that can help him put things in perspective and provide some information about the pregnancy (from a father's point of view)?

Thanks! :)

Congratulations!!! My first pregnancy was not planned. My husband (who was just my boyfriend at the time) was really scared and not happy at first. Once he told his family then he was a lot more relaxed. We have now been married for 10 years and are expecting our 4th child. Things haven't always been easy, but I wouldn't have it any other way. :)

My favorite pregnancy book is Your Pregnancy Week by Week, and The Pregnancy Book by Dr. Sears. Sorry, but I don't have any recomendations for books for men.
