here's how we broke the news to my MIL

We had a family function to go to on Sat. We bought a NB onesie and put it in a gift bag. We gave it to her before the party started. She opened it up and really didn't get it, at first. So I said "We figured you could use it in September when our new baby comes."
She jumped up, squealed and tears welled up in her eyes.

(If it seems weird that we gave HER a onsie, it's because she keeps a dresser full of clothes at her house for when the boys spend the weekend.....)

My mom, her husband and my father all have birthdays around the baby's due date, so we're thinking about saying that we have an early birthday gift for them, or something like that...I need to think about it more, I want to make it special too.
