The good: Sarah Mackenzie made her enterance healthy and happy into the world on Feb 2, 2006 at 6:11pm

The bad: Rather then being born at home we were in the hospital for a scheduled induction 4 weeks early due to PIH.

The ugly: The birth ended up being an emergency C-section....it was so scary and very overwhelming.

Baby is all good though and she is GORGOUS!!!!! I will give the full long drawn out story in a few days.

Oh Alicia I'm sorry it was so scary! Don't feel guilty about being sad you had a traumatic birth. Give yourself and your body time to heal! Looking forward to pictures!!

:hug I am so glad Sarah is doing so well, especially considering the emergency situation. I hope your recovery goes smoothly.

Alicia--So sorry to hear that your birth experience was such a difficult one. I am glad to hear that Sarah is doing well though. What a big girl for bieng 36 weeks! :hug to you as you go through the recovery time, both physical and emotional.

Aww she has my husbands cousins birthday!! Well she is pretty much like his niece.. congrats, my day is nearing only 12 days left!!!

Congrats Alicia! So happy that everything turned out, even after the overwhelming part of the birth itself. Hoping you have a fast recovery. Enjoy that little bundle!

How much did she weigh? Can't wait to see pictures!

I'm glad to hear that your baby girl arrived healthy and safe.
You know I understand just what you were facing. I hope your recovery is quick (but be kind and patient with yourself) and I can't wait to hear more about your gorgeous healthy sweet baby girl once you're back on your feet.

Beautiful name, BTW. Emergency sections are scary, but holding that sweet bundle on your arms makes it all worth it. :hug Take it easy and build your stregnth up- enjoy your babymoon. :throb
