Sticking my toe in...

hi ladies!

i am 10dpo and got a well i won't call it a big fat positive, but a very faint positive tonight. i am so beyond thrilled and i just can't stop smiling. i don't know how i'll sleep tonight. except i am exhausted so i guess at some point i will just pass out. :lol

so i'm hoping that when i test in the morning it will be darker and then i'll feel more confident that i'm really joining you all!

my edd is 10/23, which is a few weeks after my daughter turns 2.

my son is a fall baby too! it's my favorite time of year and i think it's the perfect time to welcome a babe to the family.

i look forward to spending the next nine months with you all!

I totally had the same experience with the first preg test. The second one was VERY dark, so that helped me feel way more confident. I'm an Oct. EDD, as well. Happy to have you in the group! Look forward to getting to know you as well. :)

How did you second test go?

well crap. i just woke up (early) and took another test and it's totally negative. i keep comparing it to my test from yesterday afternoon and the line is definitely there on yesterday's but nothing today. :smt022 :smt022 :smt022 oh my gosh, i am so sad i don't know what to do with myself. i guess when i have to pee again i'll take the last test and see what it says. what the heck???? i checked internally and still no spot or anything. oh, my heart is breaking. :(

okay, i just squeezed out a few drops of pee and used the last test in the box and it has a faint second line. i just don't know what to think. i'll be going to the store this morning and stocking up on lots of tests though, that's for sure. argh.

Good luck mama. I know how frustrating this is. It happens to me every time. 10dpo is still really early. This time i didn't get a faint line until 13dpo but at 17dpo was still testing neg on the clinic test. I go in again today and know that it will be fine as my home tests are nice and dark now. we will be thinking of you.

i only have a quick second but wanted to update you all. i took 2 more tests (dollar tree and another frer) and both are faint +'s, so for now i'm cautiously optimistic (and obviously very obsessive).

okey doke. i took an embarassing number of tests today. i took 3 with fmu. the frer was so darn faint i could barely see it, the dollar tree test was faint but not as faint as the frer, and the clear blue easy digital said "pregnant."

several hours later i took my last frer and my last dollar tree. the frer was much darker than any of the other frer's and the dollar tree one was nice and purpley-pink too.

so i have one last cbe digital left and i'll save that for as long as i can and then use it up in a weak moment.

what a nut job i am! this is why everyone says not to test early, huh? :lol

If it makes you feel any better Chrissy, I continued taking a test, or two, every week until my first u/s. Scrutinizing the lines, comparing them like a mad woman. TTC can make us :nut !!!
