Has anyone seen this show? It comes on Discovery Health. I saw it for the
first time today, and I feel sick! The first part that I saw was a woman being interviewed and she was talking about her elective c-secetion and how great it was. Then there was a couple who ferberized their baby and a "specialist" who teaches this method to families. The mom said that it was great b/c her baby needed rest and this was the only way he would learn to go to sleep by himself! They had her saying "he gets so much rest now" while they showed the baby screaming. She also said that anyone who is against ferberizing hasn't tried it (as in "if you tried it you would love it!") :( Then they said that the screaming and crying only lasts for the first few weeks. I'm not sure what the show is supposed to be about, but at the end they wrapped it by saying that all parents have their "secrets" and then mentioned the CIO and elective c-sec. and made it seem okay. I guess I can add this to my list of never-to-watch-shows that make me angry! (along with birthday, a baby story, etc.) :hammer :bang :cuss :argue:
