View Full Version : Um, this is weird, no?

Tastes don't turn my stomach (like the last time), but apparently textures do. In fact just the thought of certain textures (icky things that belong in the compost, say) make me turn green. Anyone else with unusual symptoms?

Never heard that one before. I haven't had any unusual symptoms yet. Now that I wrote that I am quite certain I will :LOL

i've always had a problem wth the texture of pears, but they're bugging me even worse now.

that doesn't seem too weird, but i think i have heard them all by now.

when my partner does the dishes at night, if he doesn't clean out the strainer in the bottom of the sink, in the next morning i look in there and go "erp" and almost hurl, even though i'm not really queasy.

strange, eh? but no stranger than me. :nut

How about this - with my first I could feel my uterus "humming." My midwife told me it was actually the placenta. I feel it this time too, but it's more subtle...

textures... that is interesting.

it's not really a symptom, but I've felt a sort of distinct tapping (feels like when DD was moving inside when she was 16+ weeks), but I'm only 6 weeks right now! So... it's probably gas. But it still feels like baby! strange...
