oh my gosh, i just want to throw him out the window. he is so unbelievably selfish, i can't stand it. :cuss

let's see, i feed the kids 3 meals a day, clean up after said meals, do the laundry, vacuum, pick up the toys, do the dishes, put away the dishes, do the laundry (including his), put away the laundry (including his), change the vast majority of diapers, wash the diapers, put away the diapers, make the beds, change the sheets, mow the yard, straighten up the yard, plan the meals, do the shopping, and on and on and on.

he takes out the trash, but only after it is overflowing AND only after i ask him. uh, yeah i think that's about it. :hopmad

i just agreed to work at a local yarn store teaching knitting 2 nights a week from 6-8. he is worried that is going to be "too much time away." :tomato

he just told me he is worried about getting his alone time. oh my god i want to seriously cuss him out.

okay, vent over. but i still can't stand him.

anybody else?

:hug I hear ya - I've been in the "PMS" stage of early pg since last week and now I think I have the stomach flu. My toddler is going through a very whiny stage so he's on my list right now, too :lol I'm just looking forward to the blissful second trimester and summer . . .

I'm right there with you yesterday and today. :( My issue is dealing with DHs obsession with timeliness in his current job. He's SO devoted to the job that I feel he's more in IT than our family. He works 72+ hours and won't allow himself to be late even when something comes up, I remember something we need to deal with that I've been telling him about for WEEKS, or we're having a discussion! I'm seriously wondering how we'll keep going with things the way they are... we'll just become more and more like roomies? That's not cool with me! Not with how horny I've been lately! :(

So, I feel for ya. Hope things have felt better since your post!!! I know part of my rediculous thoughts is directly tied into the first trimester, but that really doesn't help much right now. *sigh* good luck to us, eh? :)

Oh my gosh! It sounds just like my dh sometimes. Sorry mama. I read an article in college in one of my psych classes about a study they did. They asked men and women how much of the house/childcare work they each thought they did and then they actually measured it. Men on avenge said they did 50% but actually did something more like 20%. Jeez. I am always thinking about that article as I try to manage a household, run an expanding business, take care of an energetic one year old, etc...
