my BPs have been all over the place and since i had BP problems with DD, i get really anxious about it. my MW thought maybe seeing baby on U/S would help to ease some of my anxieties, since i keep worrying that when it is running high, baby doesn't get enough blood, etc. (DD was only 5lbs 6 oz).
i still didn't peek. really wanted to, but couldn't do it. the guy is really good and he said baby looks great. even had some fat rolls and chubby cheeks and thighs! cord looked nice and fat as well and he said there was good perfusion. he also estimated weight at 5lbs 9oz which is just right for 35 weeks.
i am still crossing my fingers that it is just my anxiety that is causing the BP problems. i have no other symptoms. didn't with DD either, just the high BP. no swelling or lab result abnormalities either.
send us positive vibes that it is just because of my anxiety and worrywort-ness and nothing serious. we are really hoping for a home waterbirth, but of course i just want baby to get here safely, so we will do what we need to.
