my dd just bought her first house!!!

ok, it's been forever since i posted here, but there are a few moms of teens that remember my regular posting days in this forum.

wow, she was 13 when i first started posting here.

i am so pleased & proud- her first job (disney world!), moving away to another part of the country, & closing on her new little cottage (across the st from disney world!)

can't wait to load up the guys & go visit (maybe she'll have some tickets by then. :D)

if there are any of you oldtimers still around, (marg? copslass? who else has teens and still posts here?), just thought i'd post the good news.

Well, I'm not an old-timer but I had to post because we lived in Disney's back yard for two years and I know the house prices there are climbing daily. So, congrats to your DD on her smart investment!

Holy smokes! how old is your dd. That was a very wise investment and I have to say if she was able to do it so young she must be very smart about money. good for her!!

it is a cottagey little trailer, it was only 19. :D but investment or not, it beats paying 550 for a room in someone's house 40 miles away (that mkt is TIGHT.)

thanks, it is v cute! (lilyka, she's 19- dag, you're an oldtimer here, you just weren't hanging out in this particular forum yet. give me another 8-10 yrs and i'll be a regular again. :lol i'm barely out of the diapering forum.)
