With my first baby I had the most amazing baby dreams (some of which turned out to be prophetic - I knew I was having a girl based on a dream I had at 5 weeks). So far, I've had a couple dreams where I am pregnant, but nothing very profound, spiritual, or revealing. Has anyone else had noteworthy dreams about their baby-on-the-way?

Definitely. My newest baby (#3) is three weeks old, and before I got pregnant I saw him clearly. He is a boy like I saw and looks just like I thought, hair, eye color, size, and is different from my first two...:heartbeat

Very cool topic! I agree about how prophetic (and just plain weird) pg dreams can be. With DS I dreamt that I was standing in a crowd and a small boy ran into my arms and called me mother. I loved him so much that I woke up feeling that love surrounding me. I took a pregnancy test the next day and discovered an unexpected pregnancy. I knew he was a boy. This time I've had some mixed messages. Prior to TTC again, I dreamt I was holding DS and chasing a younger brother. Now that I'm pg, I keep accidentally saying "she", and a couple of nights ago had a dream that I had a son and a daughter. I didn't really see the daughter, though, so I'm not counting it yet. It's still exciting to think about! I'm looking forward to reading what you all have dreamt.

My experiences aren't exactly in line... but I want to share because they sort of are. Hope yall don't mind the sharing. :)
I sort of *knew* I was going to get preggie with DD when DH and I did the deed the day that did result in her conception. Well, a week later I had a dream about an X... I was putting his name into Google and then woke up. Anyway... I hadn't dreamed about him in probably a year or more at that time, so it kind of really wigged me out. So, just to prove my feelings wrong, I googled his name. Found out that he was killed the day before (the day I dreamed of him). :( So, sort of recently, I had a dream about a huge crush I had right before I met DH and hadn't thought about really at all in a good while,
I wondered if I was preggie. I wrote to him after googling his name and he's still alive (THANK GOODNESS!), but I AM preggie! how weird...
It didn't happen while I was preggie, but I did have a dream that way REALLY neat about my DD. I was speaking to a woman who I KNEW was my girl, but who seemed to be my age. She was telling me that I needed to make sure to continue attending church because she didn't want to have to find it on her own. I later learned that in my church's doctorine they (we) believe that before we came to Earth we were sort of adult spirits. Anyway... it is REALLY awesome to me because I think a very clear memory from our life as spirits came through. And now I just need to stick to regular church attendance. :)
I really like the idea of this thread. I hope yall don't feel I've taken it off track. I LOVE talking dreams!!!! :love

My daughter was an adult in my dream too. I had built a pathway to a natural hot spring and knew that I was doing it for a certain person that I hadn't met yet. Later in the dream I saw the most beautiful woman sitting in the pool. In the dream I knew she was the one I had built the path for, but it wasn't until I woke up that I knew she was my daughter.

I dreamed last night about having a semi-accidental unassisted birth. It was quick and nearly painless. The cord was looped around the baby's neck as it came out, but I unhooked it with no trouble. The baby was very tall, with darker hair than my son had. I looked at the face and was sure it was a boy, but when I checked, she was a girl. We named her the girl's name we're considering, which seems a little awkward now, but which really seemed to fit her.
I'm inclined to think this was more wishful thinking than prophecy, but I never had any birth dreams quite so realistic. Well, except that when I went to check the sex, she was fully clothed in pretty much the exact same clothes my son wore yesterday :)
