I am one of the lucky ones without morning sickness...I am sure most of you Mamas are wanting to :tomato me but I didn't have any with my dd either...ANYWAY - is anyone having cravings??? I had the hottest chicken wings I could find...I don't even LIKE chicken wings!!! I am so sad they're gone!!! :bgbounce With dd it was Mexican food...AND to top it all off, I was a vegetarian before I got pregnant with #1 -look at me now... :lol

C'mon ladies, break out the cravings (and yes, saltines and ginger ale count...)

I've been feeling really awful. And yeah...saltines & gingerale have been a staple recently. :lol
But yesterday (after being on the couch with a bucket beside me for hours) I got a craving for

:hide:
A McDonalds cheesburger.

Isn't that awful? I HATE McDonalds. I hate cheesburgers. So greasy & fatty.

But...oh man! Did it taste good! And those french fries! Mmm! Like crack! :lol
Reminded me of being a little kid.

Let me tell ya...I paid for it for the rest of the day though. Blaah!

Oh my. The little country store close to us has the BEST burgers, and i want one soooo badly. I don't eat them often, but I could probably get several down right now! too bad the brakes are messed up in our van, or I'd sooo be there. Well, actually, it's probably a really good thing they are messed up, lol.

I am not able to get enough grape tomatoes w/balsamic vinegar and sea salt on them!!!! And frozen blueberries. And ginger ale. Nothing else really sounds good, except the fajitas I just HAVE to have for supper, lol. I need to cook some chicken breast and just cube it up and keep it in the fridge. OH, and spicy roasted garbanzo beans!!! Went thru 3 batches in 2 days, lol.

Well, supper last night was awesome--eggplant, onion, garlic, and bell peppers caremelized and then I made a light cream sauce over it, and added deboned rotisserie chicken. Served over ww rotini w/lots of parm!!! Dang it. now i'm hungry. I'll probably throw everything up, but oh well. Better than throwing up bile.

Ooh, ooh, ooh. Shouldn't have read this. :) Anything meaty or creamy and definitely anything greasy is turning my stomach at the moment.

I find that sweet stuff goes down the easiest, not sugar-sweet, but apples and oranges and dried fruit/nut mixes and Lara bars. And last night for dinner I had steamed broccoli and shocked myself at how fast I shoveled it in! :lol

At this exact moment though, I really wish I had my stash of plain water crackers. Ugh. Maybe chamomile tea instead...

It's funny, every time I think of the cliche "Pregnant women crave pickles" I get this intense desire for one of those extra-garlic crunchy dills...drool...

ladybugchild, I am with you on the carnivorous pregnancy bit (no offense to any vegetarians). I kept having hamburger dreams with DS! I never ate them much before pregnancy - and even didn't eat many while pregnant, but I still had dreams of them. Weird. This time I have a sweet tooth so far...digging into a chocolate ganache cupcake as I write this!

Gosh, me, it's salads. I've had salad every day since the weekend. I should check to see if my ears have gotten any longer, hahah!
We had some chocolate chip cookies and brownies at our staff meeting today...and I could have heaved just having them in front of me!! Iccccck!

Oranges and ginger ale are pretty much it. And, not usually a violent person, I would like to :tomato all you nausea-free mamas! :lol

Last time I wanted bacon on everything, and chicken bento with white rice. I was a veg before pregnancy too! :Sheepish:

I am personally happy to have all this nausea. It just means that my body is doing the hormone thing right this time. With all of my miscarriages I felt fine so for ME this is a blessing. That said I still have cravings. I am craving big fat convience store hot dogs. Odd as it sounds. I have an extreme aversion to any other "meat" lately. Ohhhh and now I just thought about adding some saurkraut. YUMMY!!!!

A McDonalds cheesburger.

You don't know how glad I am to read this. The only thing that sounds really appealing right now is pizza, and the only thing I could tolerate the other night was an In-N-Out cheeseburger. Slightly better than McD's, but still... why? Even a homecooked burger didn't sound appealing.

Ohhhh and now I just thought about adding some saurkraut. YUMMY!!!!

Ok, if I didn't already know I was pregnant, I would now. There's no WAY that should sound appealing to me. But it does.

Anything salty and crunchy just to have something in my stomach and not feel so crappy.

With DS, I remember I loved anything sweet and fruity. I ate lots of watermelons that summer!

I broke down and had to have mexican food for lunch. I can never find Mexican food here as good as in TX:( I guess that's a good thing, or I would gain much more weight during pregnancy. Beans and rice...yum!

Oooh, yes! I would be one BIG mama if I could eat really good Mexican food all the time! In fact, I might go out for an enchilada right now! :D

I just can't eat, unless it is just.what.I.wanted. I have lost about 5 lbs so far. This is my 3rd baby, and my first time with m/s. Yuck.

Yesterday I had a craving for chips and cheese dip (nacho cheese type - I'm sure there's no cheese in it at all :bag: ) I ate WAY too much of it and then regretted it the rest of the day - now when I see the jar in the fridge it makes me queasy.

I can eat pretty much whatever sounds good at this point, but like I said above I'm regretting some choices :( I'm definitly more into milk/milkshakes/ice cream and also fruit juice as opposed to water (usually I drink water almost exclusively). It was the same with my first, but I don't think it hit this early last time.

The other day, I saw a post about fish soup, and thought it sounded kind of good. A few posts later, someone posted something about a hair salon. I read it as salmon, and realized that was so totally what I wanted.

We went out, and I got a salmon burrito, which was good, but not really enough. So we got smoked salmon (yes, I realize it's a preggy no-no), cream cheese and bagels for breakfast.

Now I'm back to fixating on pizza.

Even though I'm feeling ok and not really having m/s (just a little acidy tummy feeling), nothing really appeals to me. Well, there is a tub of cream cheese frosting in the pantry that looks good, but I'm restraining myself.

Last night, I was feeling really icky and had to have these enchilladas and a vanilla coke (coke with the syrup) from this local joint. I could have eaten 5 of them (and they are big). Probably full of trans fats.

With DS, I craved Sonic's Strawberry Limeade all the time. It is so good and refreshing. Had some on Friday. I don't dig the food (except their onion rings), but love that strawberry limeade!!

I was doing so well with food and eating healthy until a week ago, and now everything but bad stuff is all blah to me. It would probably help to go shopping though!

I've been craving good salsa. And I got some yesterday at Rosa's (if any of you ladies are in Texas...I'm sure you've heard of Rosa's, it's a really good Mexican fast food place). I'd like Taco Bueno, because I like their salsa but they have changed their burritos :(

The other day I was squirting guacamole (yk, the kind in the produce section that is all natural) right out of the bag into my mouth. I'm soooo glad no one saw me!!

Last night it was home made chili w/gd turkey and beef chili meat and LOTS of beans and melted sharp cheddar. But oh! The HEARTBURN!!!! OUCH!

Today it's back to ginger ale and trying to get anything at all into me each hour (protein) just so I'm not so sick. I'm not throwing up alot, just heaving like crazy and feeling pretty rotten.

I am making home made chicken noodle soup, and all I can think of are those WHITE egg noodles. Usually I'd say YUCK to that, but man, do they sound good right now!

I'm trying to be so good...which is a little easier since I seem to still want salads, salads, salads...and I'm truly repulsed by the idea of ice cream (which is a total surprise to me) but I seem to always have a Dr's appt (endo, OB, internist...who else can I add to the list?!?!) and so there's always someone to yell at me for bad choices and too fast weight gain. Arrrrrrrgh!
