I've been lurking/reading for awhile and thought I would introduce myself. I'm expecting a little guy, edd 1 March. This is my fourth baby, I have three wonderful little girls who are 10.5, 9.5 and almost 8 so this will be a big change around here! This is the first baby for my husband and I together, we tried for 3 years (minus a week) before we finally got pregnant.
I really want a homebirth but because my husband is away until the end of March (except for Tuesday afternoons and weekends) I couldn't get a midwife (the closest ones are about 45 minutes away and I had no way to get there for appointments) so I have to have him in the hospital here. I have a good OB who is really open to what I want and is very pro-natural birth and doesn't believe in interfering with the process. :)
Anyway, I just thought I'd say hello!
