A couple of nights ago, I discovered that when I drink a glass of juice or eat some fruit and Nate really gets moving, I can now feel him from the outside with my hand! Very exciting, though it seems that this is occuring earlier than it did with Aidan. Perhaps something having to do with this being my second child? Anyone else able to feel movement from the outside yet?

Not yet but I remember that it was pretty late with DJ as well. Probably has something to do with the fact that I'm a little overweight. Especially this time, I still have half my belly left from DJ...I'm actually losing weight and still below my pre-preg weight, but I'm HUGE! It's a little strange too because with DJ I was ALL baby right from the start but this time the belly is all squishy, I guess because it's still mostly leftovers from Squirt!
Yeah, I can feel it from the outside sometimes. At first I couldn't tell if it was only because I knew it was going on, but DH felt movement for the first time last weekend and was able to pinpoint where it was coming from without my help, so we've definitely got some strong movement happening!
I think this is fairly on track time-wise. (I'm due end of June/beginning of July, so am about 22 weeks now.)

I am actually feeling more on the outside than the inside! I've been able to feel his kicks externally for the 4-6 weeks, only a couple of weeks after I began to feel movement at all. Way cooler I think, but it freaks my daughter out!

Yep, right about 20 weeks I could feel a small *bump!* from the outside. My DH was thrilled :) Now the baby kicks my DD whenever she's resting against my belly.

yep, me and my family have been feeling our newest little one moving for the last 2 weeks. :love it's wonderful that they can finally feel on the outside what i've been feeling on the inside.
my 2nd ds told me several nights ago when he felt the kick, "oh mom, that baby wants out!"
my dd just laughs. she doesn't really understand yet.

I can! Okay, I did once, but it was so cool! I could totally feel the little bugger moving around like crazy, so I figured I'd push a little on one side for a minute and see if I could feel anything, and I felt a big ol' kick.. SO cool when that starts happening...

Not yet, but I am not surprised. I felt it really early with Seth, but he was such a busy baby (hmmm...hasn't changed!!). This little girl is more like Emma I think, a little more calm! :)

yep! for a little while we've been able to see and feel him move from the outside ... my 2.5 year old loves to try to "tickle" the part he sees moving. :love
honestly, i remember this with ds pregnancy, too ... i could just sit and stare at my belly for long stretches of time just waiting to see that ripple or bump! we like to guess which part it is. :D

I've been feeling it from the outside since about 17 weeks. My dh loves to lay next to me with his hand on my tummy. The baby's kicks have gone from bumps to major ripples I can see it move across my whole tummy like a wave. In fact last night I was doing a belly photoshoot and the photographer even commented on his movement! :lol
I also found out at my last appt that my placenta is high and in the back so theres been nothing in the way of my feeling his movement!

i can feel it on the outside if she is being particularly active, like right before bed. dp has only felt her once. i LOVE having a little person inside me!

No, I can't even really feel anything inside. :( Sometimes I think I do, but it is so fleeting that I am not sure. Not to mention this pregnancy is causing..er frequent gas, which might be masking any movement. I am kind of worried, but we have an U/S Monday.

My 8yo came out upset last night because his story tape was scary. He lay on my belly and got kicked in the face over and over! He loved it.

Yep, I've been feeling them for a couple of weeks now. :love I actually felt the first one from the outside at 17w, but it took a week or two before I was feeling them consistently.
I don't remember feeling it this early with dd, though!

Yes- for a couple of weeks! Tonight she was really going at it! She NEVER kicks for dh though (Cady was the same way)! It's so exciting!

I have been feeling this baby kick since around 17 or 18 wks. I wasn't sure if anyone else could feel it so i laid in bed and made my dh wait until the baby kicked hard enough for him to feel! This is my favorite time b/c i feel like i can finally share this pregnancy with everyone!

it's the same for me. I'm not feeling this baby yet but she/he is quiet compared for dd2. DD1 was and still is a easy-going baby/preschooler and i didn't felt her this soon.
