View Full Version : Feeling nauseous at 14 weeks?

I am 14 weeks and in the last 2 days I've felt queasy ALL day long. The thought of food makes me feel REALLY queasy, but I am hungry and can eat without feeling any worse. Today is day 3 and I felt great this morning but at around 10am I started feeling all woozy. I so wish I could go home and lie on the couch!

What's weird to me, I haven't been nauseous up to this point. I've been VERY picky about food (for example, acidy foods make me feel ill) but I haven't felt queasy for NO reason and if I stay away from the foods that turn me off, I feel great. Also, I never had any nausea in my first pregnancy. I was also picky about foods and could only eat certain things, but never felt sick. Is this normal to start feeling queasy at this point? Could it mean something is wrong? I'm getting a bit worried and I don't like this feeling AT ALL. I feel terrible for all the moms that get morning sickness and have nausea for any length of time, because this sucks! and I'm not even puking! Gold medals for all who have to go through this!

I don't think anything is wrong. I knwo lots of people get morning sickness at various times. You could also just have some sort of stomach virus.

Hope you feel better.

I agree with the PP when she said this could be normal or you could be sick...

With my previous 2 DC's I was sick before I could take a preg. test and get a positive. This baby I was GREAT until 10 weeks, then the m/s hit me hard. I still have it just as bad and I'm now 15 weeks. It's normal to get m/s in the first trimester, but some women get it later and it doesn't mean that anything is wrong at all.

Take care of yourself!
