I know I haven't posted much around here (though I have lurked QUITE a bit), but I wanted to announce the birth of our baby, Gage Kevin, on Febuary 18. He was my 'earliest' - born at 37 weeks, and quite the surpirse as I didn't think I'd have him till mid-March. He weighed in at a 8 pounds, 3 oz and was 20 1/2 inches long. The birth was spectacular- everything I dreamed of. I delivered him on the very bed he was concieved in, with soft candlelight glowing all around me, and attended only by my wonderful husband and midwife. It really feels like I've come full circle, and that my first 5 birth were all preparation for me to have this one perfect, final birth.
I will hopefully have a chance to write his full birth story some time this week, and I'll post it. I can't wait to hear all of your stories!
