It burns my mouth and especially my tongue. I don't have trouble with other mint products; in fact I love mint in foods. And I don't have trouble with non-mint toothpastes. It is specifically mint toothpaste. Why is this? And am I the only one? I just can't understand why nearly every single toothpaste out there is mint. :( (And floss too!)

So recently I found Doctor Burt's Children's Orange Cream Toothpaste, and since using it my root canal tooth and my crown tooth, which have been bothering me for months, all of a sudden aren't bothering me anymore. Coincidence? It's just weird.

So what the heck is in these toothpastes that is hurting me?

Could be the floride. My Step mom (RIP) had cancer and everything she ate or used on her body after she found out she had cancer was all natural. My dad did the same, he is constanly harping on me for using such products(as an example)floride toothpaste. He did a lot of reserch on floride and said we may as well put toxic waste in our mouths, I never did ask him what exactly he ment, so it might be worth checking in to.

Thanks for the reply. :) I don't think it's the fluoride, because Desert Essence toothpaste does it to me too, and it doesn't have fluoride.
