Ok, the having to cross my legs and be very very careful when I sneeze is getting old. I seem to be allergic to myself, so I sneeze all the time. What is going to happen when I can't cross them as well anymore? anyone? anyone? Depends are just not a cool option for me:lol
Just had to share the frustration!
I'm with you! This darned cold is driving me crazy. Between sneezing, coughing, and blowing my nose, I seem to have to cross my legs most of the time. I guess you'll just have to stand up everytime you have to sneeze so you can cross your legs those last couple months.:lol

Kegels!
Do they help? They've been sufficient for me... as long as I remember to squeeze before the sneeze :LOL

Ditto the kegels...but still, sometimes it takes a pretty well-timed kegel or leg-cross! On another board it was hinted at that "leakage" during or after pregnancy was not normal or "natural"...BAH!!! I'm pretty sure it must have been written by a guy, or a rather fortunate mama!

Oh, yeah and you can still pee into a sample cup and keep your hand dry after pregnancy.
My 'control' issues are very minor, but still definitely there. m/s was different this time around because I needed an extra few moments to get my pants down so I wasn't having to change them all the time...:blush

Funny, I just read this thread and then sneezed. I made sure I squeezed first!

Last year when I was pregnant, I was sick October through March, I think. Between teh sneezes and horrible coughing fits, I gave up and did use Depends "panty liners". I was tired of smelling pee and having to change every few hours. I haven't really had as many problems this time around, but I haven't been sick, either.
Both my peri and MW told me that kegels don't help to avoid stress incontinence, but I was asking about using them for strengthening. It makes so much more sense to use them *while* you sneeze! :duh
I've been snotty and sneezy the entire pregnancy (I now have more sympathy for people with environmental allergies!) and usually I'm fine, but every so often it's embarassing. I am so going to try the kegel-during trick. :thumb

I still haven't mastered this one!! Anyone have any tips? The Kegel-while-sneezing-trick has worked well for me so far!
