All is very, very well and we did not peek at the gender.

There was an intern there, so the u/s tech took a little extra time and had lots of explanations, I loved it! We have video and lots of pictures.

The placenta is anterior (up front), as it was with Noah which explains why I'm only feeling movement right over my pubic bone, that and the little one's feet are dancing on my cervix! I'm a little bummed because I won't have any stories of watching a body part move from one side of my belly to the other, but I guess it will be a little less distracting. The little one was very very active so it took some chasing around to get a look at some things.

I also had an abdominal scan done to check my gallbladder, I don't have any symptoms, but wanted to check out the stone situation. The stone that was 8mm 3 years ago is now 2cm, but there aren't any more in there & there is no inflamation. I'll have to chat with my naturalpathic dr to see if I should go back on the Actigall to shrink it again, or leave good enough alone since it's too big to go down the bile duct. The stone I had trouble with last time (4months post partum) had gotten temporarily lodged.

It's just hard to believe that the little being we saw today is going to be a little person like Noah! Even having been through this before, it really is remarkable.

Awesome news! Although, sorry to hear about the stone. :(

Thats a bummer that your placenta is in the front. Is it possible for it to move later on?

congratulations on a healthy baby dancing on your cervix:love

sorry about your gallstones, bummer.

i don't think you can ever not be awed by the miracles growing inside of you, no matter how many times you've been thru it!

I think my placenta was anterior with my second also, just as it is with this one. I only felt him on one side until I was about 25 weeks. Trust me, I saw all the limbs moving in those last couple months -- the placenta didn't stop that. After all, think how much bigger your belly will be compared to what it is now. There will be a lot more space for the babe to move against later.
