i leaked all over my favorite PJs last night and i don't think the blood will ever come out. :angry

is there any reason i shouldn't use a tampon? maybe i should check my cervix and see if it is still open. an infection would be bad.

I was told specifically NOT to use tampons during my m/c. You want to be able to pass all the tissue and clots w/out having a "plug" up there. I hate pads as much as anyone, but you need to stick w/ them.
P.S. I would avoid wearing your favorite "anything" while you are bleeding so heavily!:o

well, i'm not really bleeding very heavily, and there is only blood. i never had clots or anything, just the little body and that was it. :(

maybe i will call the midwife and ask her what she thinks.

i have never really bled "hard" except for 3 days after my son was born. my periods have always been scanty and i bled for only 10 days after my birth.

I am not using any tampons. I also hate pads but I want everything that needs out, to get out. An infection would also be horrible at this time. Jennifer

I am so sorry to hear of your loss :hug

H2O2 is great at getting out blood stains. Its safe on everything but silk or wool.

Kotex used to make panties that you wore with a pad of your choice that I loved because they where leak proof. But then they stopped making them :irked:

my GF who owns princess and pea diapers offered to sew me some cloth pads. they are pretty cool. they are kinds litle a diaper in that they have a wool (or other cloth) cover and the you put the pads inide and change them when you need to.

bt her baby was due last week. so i don't think that she will have the time or patience to sew them for me right now.

but it was really nice of her to offer. :)

i got some oxy-clean to soak my jammies in.

Honeybeedreams,
That was a sweet offer! I am glad that you may be able to salvage your jammies....I just dumped mine in the hospital boi-waste they were so ruined. My hubby says he is going to take me shopping for new ones though :) I don't know why but that made me so happy.

Maybe you could order some cloth pads? I am not bleeding too bad but I hat thinking about it all the time too. Love, Jennifer

yes, i found out later that it was the night of the dark moon. you know just before it becomes new again. so it makes sense to me that it happened then.

i am glad i have women to share this with too. my friends have been very supportive, even the ones who have never had a miscarriage. but it is esp. helpful to be able to talk with another women who has just gone through the same thing.
