View Full Version : Too Full!

I'm a little disconcerted that I'm already at the point where my stomach is fighting for space in my torso. :irked: Even when I'm hungry, I'm full - does that make sense? I'm down to being able to eat sooo little amounts at once - - otherwise I'm in pure misery (flashback to your worst Thanksgiving overeating experience :wink). I know that it just means I need to eat less, but more often - - but does anyone have any suggestions for foods that don't take up a huge amount of space, but still give me more bang for my buck nutrients-wise (i.e., hard-boiled egg)?

One piece of toast with peanut butter and a six ounce glass of milk pretty much STUFF me - - so I'm kinda looking for something that won't stuff me, but will satisfy the hunger (and of COURSE my nutrients-needs) - at least until my next meal 10 minutes later... :lol

Yeah, I can relate. Just this week I can tell that everything has shifted up again. If I lay on my back to sleep now I feel like I'm starting to suffocate. I'm just eating when I think about it. When things start to move outward again I'll gain a little stomach space back for a while.

Yeah, that's what was happening with me and the cookies last week. No suggestions here though. :(

Snack on some of the following:
-nuts
-cottage cheese with a small apple
-yogurt
-pretzles w/ cheese
-make a protein dense fruit smoothie (I use whey powder, frozen fruit, rice milk, flax seeds, a sm. amt of vanilla, and sweeten it w/ a spoonful of jelly)
-apple w/ peanut butter
-soy nuts
-ham w/ cream cheese (just spread the cream cheese on the ham and roll it up to eat it ... also good with a slice of cheddar cheese added!)
-homemade granola (I use oats, cashews, sunflower seeds, wheat germ, oil, vanilla, salt, and honey)

Ok, I'm outta ideas! I hope that helps you a little.

I've been feeling like this, too, but I don't remember it so early last time! Thanks for the snacky suggestions!
