I've noticed we have some mommies having twins here. I have a good friend who is pregnant for her first time and expecting twins. I'd love to get her a really good, positive book on parenting twins as a shower gift. Does anyone have some suggestions about good books? Thanks!

The first one I got I've absolutely LOVED! It's called "Having Twins and More" by Elizabeth Noble. Very informative, very positive, natural pregnancy, childbirth and breastfeeding friendly. I've heard other great things about Karen Gromada's book, "Mothering Multiples." A new edition is about to come out any day now. She's associated with the LLL and also is featured on the "parenting multiples" forum here at MDC. I'm currently reading Dr. Barbara Luke's book (have forgotten the title), which is very nutritionally-oriented and also very informative.
