I had an US this afternoon because I have been having a lot of dizzy spells and today when I woke up it was so bad I could not walk.

Anyway..after some IV fluids, they think it may still be me adjusting to the altitude. (We're from LA..living here since Katrina) That and nursing ds, I was a little dehydrated..

Anyway..

It's a boy :love He was active and very cooperative in showing his turtle :lol

Glad to hear everything's okay. :hug

I'm just curious....do you have any issues with low blood sugar? My worst hypoglycemic episodes always involved vertigo (so bad that I couldn't walk without assistance).

Either way, I'm very glad all's well with you and your BOY! :D

Congratulations to you and your family on a healthy boy!:love

Yikes, sorry you had to get dizzy and dehydrated to find out.

I was certainly curious about whether you were going to have more girls or more boys!:D

You know..I could, my father was hypoglycemic. Anyway, she called it positional vertigo, but I feel dizzy standing or sitting, and couldn't walk without assistance so I dunno.

Yeah, "positional vertigo" sounds a bit funny if it's there in every position!

I'm glad it's nothing more serious! The altitude does take time to adjust to. I hope you're feeling a LOT better!

And congratulations on your boy! Wow, 4 girls and 5 boys. You do have a baseball team!

Congratulations on your son :D and I hope the vertigo goes away. A friend of mine had that (not while pg) and after a few months, it just stopped happening. They never figured out what the issue was, but all is well now.

If you think it might be hypoglycemia, try eating small meals/snacks every two or three hours, always with protein, and avoid simple sugars. If the dizziness stops, it may well be a hypoglycemic thing.
