I have what I affectionately call The Plague. I feel horrible and have for the past three days. The on-call OB was kind eough to call in some anitbiotics for me (which seem to be helping). I hate taking meds while pg but my tonsils were killing me. I was excruciating. Now I still have fever, coughing, sneezing and drainage galore.
Is the little baby ok down there? I hate feeling this terrible while trying to gestate a whole other person. And be a wife. And a mom. . .

Eat plenty of raw garlic. I also like Emergen-C. Hylands Flu is another one that I have used occassionaly. Trust me though, down as many cloves of garlic a day that you can and it'll knock it right out.

I just got over a 2 week long ear infection and 10 day cold. What a nightmare.
If you can, check out naturopathic treatment options. Luckily, I live in Oregon so I have amazing access to infinite sources of alternative treatment options.
I survived my ordeal by putting garlic/olive oil in my ear and taking echinacea and vitamin c.
Hope you feel better soon.

Bleh, I just got over an awful cold myself... my goal was to just keep being able to breathe without coughing/dying - so I actually resorted to taking Sudafed for two days... but it was well worth it. I don't like medication but when I feel like I have the flu, I'll do it.

We all had a cold/flu just before leaving for Hawaii. The pressure changes on the plane damn near killed A.J. and I, it was excrutiating. I took acetaminophen for a couple of days, but otherwise I just survived somehow. I feel for you!
