Anyone else just feeling crappy....*sigh*..I was doing so well with this patience thing...baby will come when baby is ready..*sigh*...after no sleep last night, contractions I THOUGHT would mean SOMETHING, feeling like I am gonna puke and the constant pains like I am gonna #2 everywhere...I feel done. I know that once I get some sleep and revamped I will feel better....so this is simply a vent...but please tell me someone else feels the same?

I'm right there with you....should we have a race to see who goes into labor first? LOL... The night before last I had a mass exodus of my intestinal content. Then that night, and last night major cramps. I wake up because my hips are screaming at me to find out that it's because of these cramps. OUCH!!!!
I got off my terbutaline Friday, and this started Sunday. I guess the terb was doing it's job afterall.
I have a doc appt today, we'll see what type of progress I'm making. I know something is going on....I'm really losing brain cells here on top of it.:blush

Yep. My main complaint is that even just walking is uncomfortable, but I hate sitting around. I also hate being this big. I'd like to get out of the house but just too awkward to feel like driving myself.

Right with you there on the (f***ing constant) mass exodus and cramps and pukiness.
Tomorrow I am somewhere between 39 and 40 weeks, and don't think I'm not thinking about that every moment. I hate having these ctx and thinking every time, "is this it?"
I don't know how older mamas do this - I'm 26 and I feel 90. Though I don't recall feeling like this with dd.....could it be my brain selectively discarding certain material that would have kept me from getting pregnant again?
Everything is ready for this kid: clothes, frozen food, homebirth supplies, a toddler who wants him/her NOW, an eager dada, a family that won't stop saying "so, when are you going to pop out that baby?", a variety pack of beer for me, and most of all, my body.
I'm going to start having some serious discussions with this child.

I am officially past dates now, my hips are killing me and I'm tired of the contractions that start up then stop. I think the bones in my pelvis are just floating around down there, everytime I try to turn over or whatever in bed, I just hear them grind and pop against each other, and that really hurts!
a variety pack of beer for me
I knew there was something I'd forgotten to put on my to-do list! :thumb (For me it's red wine.) **Heading off to the liquor store to buy some kick-@ss Zinfandel and get some really funny looks from the clerks...**

Awww I am so glad that others are feeling the same way...well not glad tht your all about to shit yourselves too , but you know..lol....We went and made wine here..the white is ready on monday and the red the following week and DH is picking up a big old bottle of red tommorow "just in case" .. After I posted I went and layed down with my 3yo and slept for about an hour or so and feeling a bit better...still feeling drained but I have a better head about me.... Like you all, I know something is happening...but what...whats going on. Everything , like last night, when I think this is it, they go away. I wish taht we had like a light on us that would go off if it was the real thing..lol..none of this guessing crap.
I seriously eat anything and it runs out of me...and the puky feeling..almost feels like Morning sickness me thinks...anyway I am glad were in this together...and to think I was doing so well with my patience..lol

I am with you all on this one. I had constant contractions last evening that just wore me out. I mean these things last for like hours and make my stomach muscles sore around the sides. I have been having these contractions the last 3 months. So I know it's not serious, just annoying.
I can't rollover in bed without being in pain. If I sit down I can barely walk when I get up. Last night I drank water too much before bed and peed my pants when I stood up. TMI :blush I wish that had been my water breaking. :irked:
I can't do any serious cleaning or my back will get wacked out. Even doing dishes at this point is hard. I can't pick up DS's toys. I did finish some diapers and made banana bread yesterday.
Walking is ok. I keep hoping all the walking I am doing will get some organized contractions that are serious.
Since this is a VBAC, I am nervous that I will go to far past the due date. I'm afraid if I join this race, over which I have no control, that I will lose in repeat c/s.

Since this is my first, I have been wondering about all these feelings and how long they last! I have been so tired, sore, backache, sick, and yeah..the bathroom issues are no fun either. I do not really have regular or particulary strong BH, but at the end of the day I have sharp pains in my pelvis and can feel the baby's head moving on my cervix. (perhaps bh's?)Last week my midwife checked me and I was 1-2 cm dialated and 80% effaced. I am still working, everyday that I show up at work people are suprised to see me there, haha. Doing things in the morning are easier for me than in the evening when I am wiped out from the day, like cooking and washing dishes. I hope this baby comes soon...I want my internal space back!

The sleeping thing isnt alot of fun...the process of rolling over to the other side...lol...funny really...do you all get that hip pain on rolling over? lol..isnt it FAB....nevermind the kicking thats so painful that i THINK I jsut may have a bruised rib..lol...*deep breath* well girls were gonna hold our babies so very soon...and we'll forget all this and do it again..lol

I did this too! I had to buy some birthday presents, and I made my husband go in with me because I didn't want to be 9 months pregnant and be seen buying several bottles of wine! :lol

Oh ladies, it is so welcoming to read this post!! What really is bothering me is that I won't even hit 37 weeks until Thursday-I still have at least 3 weeks to go. The only thing keeping me on the up is making myself busy at home. I think it's struck my husband as well. Last night he cleaned our kitchen tiles with a toothbrush and Tilex, then he swept, did the laundry, and vacuumed the carpet. :love I think we're ready.

Thanks, Phoenix - Thats what I need to hear. Our bodies can and will work without medical intervention.
