I thought that, since I replied to another thread, I ought to introduce myself. :) I just found out last Wednesday that we are expecting our surprise third baby, "due" around November 5. It's a few months ahead of the schedule we had "planned" on (HAHAHA!!), but I am getting used to the idea and getting excited. :) I have a 2 1/2 year old son that will turn 3 a month and a half before baby comes, and a 15 month old daughter that should turn 2 shortly after the baby arrives. I've been around Mothering since pregnant with my first, but haven't been a huge poster. Looking forward to getting to know all of you over the next 8 months! :)

Congrats!! This is number 3 for us too! I have a dd who will be 9 Saturday and a 4 1/2 yr. old ds!

Congratulations! What an exciting surprise! (I can't imagine having a surprise pregnancy since we use donor sperm, lol).

This will be our third baby too, and we'll also have three kids under age 4 when this one arrives.

Have you thought about when you'll share the news with your kids? I'm feeling pretty torn about it right now. I guess your little one probably wouldn't understand it, but maybe your bigger one would?

Thanks for the congrats! It's funny, Lex, I keep saying that I'd love to try for a baby. Our first was not really so much of a surprise as it was that we just weren't trying, weren't preventing. Numbers 2 and 3 were both a big shock. Thankfully, after seeing how wonderfully the surprise of #2 turned out, I can be really excited about this one, because I know that this baby is going to be another amazing addition to the family, and we won't be able to imagine life any other way. :) I replied to your question about telling the kids, Lex, in your thread on the subject... Looking forward to getting to know you all! :)
