OK so I have read afew articles today on this...some say that Masterbating in the last few weeks helps bring on labour and others say tht it does nothing.
I know that DTD with hubby becuase the stuff in sperm helps the cervix , but does other "stuff" work too?

I'm going to assume it's the contracting uterus that people say spark the labor. Women who are at risk for pre-term labor are advised to not only not have sex but to also not have orgasm because it makes the uterus contract.

Well, DH and I have been GIO frequently for the the last week. No luck yet. I also did myself. I really don't think I could 3O's in an hour. I keep hoping this natural induction method will work soon. I have to beg DH. He seemed to get when I said I want the baby out. After all he's not carrying around a approx 7 lb baby.

I don't think I'd have a problem with 3 O's in an hour :o, by myself that is :lol. I've been begging Dp (even though we can't stand each other right now) & he's being stubborn. We dtd the other night & he swore he could feel the head (babe was/is at zero station, so he probably could :lol.) Dtd *is* SOOO uncomfortable, it's more comfortable to do it yourself, IMO, but then you don't get those prostaglandins.

Dh has really been into porn lately. He said this morning that he just doesn't think that I want to have sex. My husband has no qualms so far with the belly, the movement, or anything else. He loves it all. He's still his typical, the more the better. It's having a 4 year old and being tired that mostly gets in our way. Oddly enough, I'm actually more willing now than I was before.

This thread gave me a good laugh!!!!! I sure hope that there is truth to that story because that is probably the only action I'll be seeing around here for a while. Apparently it had been a bit longer than I thought since dh and I dtd, a couple nights ago I thought it would be a good idea.... Anyways after about 10 minutes of hysterical laughter and some frustration we figured we might just have to wait until I am not so big. Pregnancy porn!!???? I didn't even know that such a thing existed! Maybe I live in too conservative of a city. We have had good luck with me sitting on the kitchen table. It's the most comfy for me. Jessie...there totally is pregnancy porn and I didnt think I would like it at first...but it didnt make me feel so whalish after watching it. It really helped me, didnt get my hubby in the mood, lol, he was so cute buying it for me...I guess the dude at the shack said "holy f$^% thats awesome" when he told him that his pregnant wife sent him...lol...also something about how his wife didnt want anything to do with him when she was pregnant..lol...too funny...I guess the funniest part about the whole thing though was that I tried to take it back for us two days later and he wouldnt let me..lol...he said "my pregnant wife is not going to the shack..lol" so cute...anyway I say go for it seriously..it was awesome...odd seeing big bellies shaggin..but nice too at the same time..
