Our yet nameless baby boy was born Monday morning:boybaby: (dh and I still can't agree 100% on the middle name)
I have had a cough that I haven't been able to get rid of for 2 weeks, then on Saturday I thought I tore my rib muscle or broke a rib coughing, so I spent Sunday sleeping and telling myself not to go into labor. Sunday I woke up, felt better--no pain, but started having cx 8-5 minutes apart and a lot of bloody show. Nothing more than that all night, but the mws came--apparently since baby #3 can be the wildcard. Everyone slept, labor kicked in at 7am, got in the tub at 10 something and he was born at 10:45am.
He's 23" long and 9 pounds 8 ounces. Tons of hair and the longest nails I've ever seen (thank you fish oil). No tearing--thank you waterbirth. I did bleed a lot after, so I was very happy that the mws were there. They gave me a shot of pit, and something else, and the bleeding did stop and I feel fine now.
Just waiting for milk because I've got a thirsty baby. But there's a lot of colostrum and he's passed his mecomium and is peeing up a storm so all is good.
