This is baby #4 for me. I have a tendency to go to 43 weeks. My third baby, however, was born on my due date! When do you all recommend taking EPO?
Thanks everyone!

I don't recommend EPO, as I feel like any supplement for the goal of getting labor going really doesn't work well. EPO is a great supplement all through pregnancy, so you could ideally start taking it any time.
I'd recommend lots of lovin' with your partner!

I'll right ladies, I'm wracking my brain here, and I'm sure I know this, but I have a migraine and my helpful cheats, er, index cards are back in Indiana... EPO??
Essential Petunia Oil?
Effervescent Progesterone Oleo?
Extra Powerful Orgasm? (I'll take two, please)

Thanks. I actually remembered it on my way home from picking up DP last night. We were driving along, talking about something else, and I suddenly shouted out "Evening primrose oil!" He looked at me like I'm crazy. Which I am, so that's ok. It was really funny. :)

I started at 36 weeks-- it won't get things going, but may get you a little softer. I took some orally ocassionally but mostly I put some in right up against the cervix (3-5, and I didn't open them, didn't think of it!). My midwife also popped one open (with a needle I think) and put it up against my cervix at 41 weeks.
If you take them orally and get diarrhea, cut back. At least that way you'll know if your diarrhea is due to too much EPO, or labor starting :) Good luck!
and I second the "sex" suggestion...orgasm and semen, what a combo!
