What is going on here?? I'm 19 weeks and suddenly the past few days my morning sickness has been back with a vengeance...worse than it was in the beginning!
My 20 month old has decided that it's fun to go to the potty but the past few days, every time he goes in there, he leans his head over the bowl and makes gagging noises...poor guy!
Please tell me this is normal and will go away TOMORROW!! :)

I'm just a couple of days shy of 17 weeks, and I had a major m/s attack yesterday. I'm fine today. So just hang in until tomorrow!

Are you sure you don't have a stomach bug? I was expecting my m/s to go away after the 1st tri, but it got worse instead. Finally at 22 wks, I think I'm through with it, but I'm not counting on it. Taking 50 mg of vit B6 really helped me through some tough times, have you tried that?
M/s sucks! I hope you feel better soon.

I thought it might be a stomach bug when it first started but it goes away after a couple of hours and comes back the next morning. I've been wearing the Sea Bands (which helped in first tri but don't seem to be doing much now) but I'll definitely pick up some B6 today!
I didn't mean to make it sound like my toddler has the "bug" too...he's just mimicking Mommy...it really is kind of cute in a sick sort of way! This morning, while I was puking, he squeezed around beside me so he could get over the toilet too and did the gagging noises for me while rubbing my head and saying "It's okay mommy...kay? Better?" He really is a mess!

I've been taking 200 mg of the B 6 every day since I discovered it in January. It has taken care of all of the puking but there are times that the nausea sneaks around for a little while. i don't know how I ever would have gone on without it! 200 mg is the highest reccomended dosage but the lower doses were not enough to control my morning/afternoon/night sickness.

My MW suggested a really simple solution to the m/s I dealt with at the beginning. Cheese and crackers. Seriously. They worked, she thought it may have been a salt and protein issue. I agree with her. Now if only the OB would have suggested the same thing during my first pregnancy I wouldn't have suffered for 7 months with nausea:irked:
