ALL you know about progesterone?

I need to hear it. Is it safe while bf? When should I start? What are my "prep" choices (injection, cream, suppositories). Do not need info on prometrium. Will not use. I've had 4 early mc and next time we will do progesterone therapy during the first trimester. Help!

I took progesterone with my first. I first used the suppositories then took it as a pill....and for it I have a wonderful daughter.:) I will have to check if progesterone can be used while Bf because I do not know...I think if you used the suppositories I would not see a problem BF but not sure. WHen to use it....as soon as you miss a period ...go to the doctor and ask for blood work to be taken to check for progesterone levels..they meant what to check again the progesterone after a day or two to see if they gone down if they have they will put you on a progesterone. However I did not want to wait to see if my levels went down or not I ask for a progesterone pill right away.

I don't have any answers for you, but I do have more questions.:innocent I recently just started using a progesterone cream, we are ttc and I have bad pms, I've heard its supposed to help on both fronts. This is my first month to use it, so far no negative PMS :carrot, but I have noticed I have sensative boobs, alot more cm, and a *taste* I can't get rid of. I'm just wondering if this is normal?:o Also, for those of you who have used progesterone to get pg, how long were you on it before you were successful? Thanks! :love
