not in your DDC but I wanted to respond. as this happened to me with my first baby. (he was OP) sounds like that may be the case with you too. is your belly concave near your belly button/middle? anyhow that's what my belly looked like when my DS was in an OP position. try spending lots of time on your hands and knees and see if you can't get baby to move. avoid laying on your back and sitting in reclining positions with your hips above your knees at all costs. also check out www.spinningbabies.com
as for the slowing down of movement I think that is pretty normal. if you are worried maybe you can do a quick check of the hb with your MW or OB?

Thats intersting April, mine was a bit concave near my belly button the last few days before ruby was born. not sure of her position, but during labor the nurse told me her head was crooked and not coming down straight so my cervix was more dilated on one side till i laid on my side for a bit.

Have you considered seeing a doc or a midwife about it? If you have a midwife, or other care provider, I believe that it would be a good idea to get checked out, just to be on the safe side. I know that you may be even more afraid that there is something wrong, but you need to keep your stress level down right now (and your blood pressure), so it is better to find out if something is amiss rather than let this go on.
I was a student midwife before becoming a mama, and do not believe I have heard of the concave belly. So it may be that the baby has just changed positions, and/or is moving down, which is fine. But, please go get checked out by your care provider. And please let me know what you find out.
Also, if you are still feeling movement, your baby is most likely just fine. Movements lessen the closer to birth that you get. And you did not mention that you were feeling badly otherwise, so I am hoping that it is just the last stages of your pregnancy. But, again, see your midwife or doc. At the very least, it will put your mind at ease. And by the way, congratulations on your baby-to-be!!!!
