We have to use my grandmother's name for our daughter's middle. But which way sounds best?
Sadie Flor Stell
Sadie Florence Stell
Not totally sure that's the first name, but if it is...what to you think?

I prefer it with Florence...since your last name is only one syllable I think Flor sounds a little abrupt and the longer version flows better (of course that's just me!!)

Ditto on Florence. Plus, I hear "floor" for Flor and who wants that as a name? :wink

I agree with pp -- Florence or Flora both have a nice sound with the name as a whole. Lovely!
