And don't worry -- I will be starting the majority of the "I'm miserable" threads come summer, but today?
I don't know. We are having a spring equinox party for 4 of my daughter's friends from preschool at lunchtime today, we are making a flower cake, the girls wanted to wear little dresses today and they just look beautiful, my husband is sweet and handsome and wonderful, and I spent an hour before bed last night feeling little baby kick me left and right. It was just glorious and it leaves me feeling SO SO SO blessed and grateful today.
Just wanted to express it. Euphoria loves company........
disclaimer and p.s.: I am not a woman who loves being pregnant, but those first real awesome strong kicks are such magic aren;t they? It is the only thing I enjoy and the one thing I will miss after the pg is over :love

I love spring too, although I love fall even more. I think it's just the change that's nice.
I'm happy too because my husband's business partner is away for a few days and after a day visiting my SIL yesterday (where A.J. got his little finger slammed in a closet door by one of his cousins--we're keeping an eye on that!), we get to all be home together for 2 days (though my husband will undoubtedly spend time working on the computer and the phone, but still...). So I'm making a list for him of things that need to be done at home (the only way he can wrap his head around household tasks).
And I'm going to the craft store BY MYSELF later. My swap package is almost complete. And my second midwife appointment is tomorrow. So aside from a headache and just mild nausea thanks to the drugs, I'm feeling pretty decent!
Happy Spring!!! (or Happy Autumn to anyone in the southern hemisphere!!!)

I'm so glad you guys are having such a good day. I'm going to lean in close to the computer and see if I can get some happy vibes! I'm having a pretty rotten day - blech - but I'm glad someone's having a good day. You wouldn't guess it's spring here. We having four or five inches of snow on the ground and it's been snowing all day! That's Colorado for you - it never seems to know what season it is - two weeks ago it was 70 degrees!

Yeah, it must be the August Opposite Day. :lol I've been great, happy, energetic, positive, etc. pretty much every day. Til today.
:(
I woke up with a black eye, except it was red instead of black. Why? We don't know. I didn't do anything to it; DH didn't elbow me in my sleep; I don't have pinkeye... but I still looked like a punching bag. And my face looks like ground beef. And the big ol' whiteheads HURT! They woke me up hurting. And then I got my 3rd headache of the year and had a bad day at work and my coworker is a jerk and I have to work until 10pm tonight and deal with a gauntlet of irritating people.
As I told DH... only the promise of tomorrow's ultrasound keeps me going. Cross your fingers that tadpole is an exhibitionist, because I want to see a p-due or bojango, dangit!

Colorado: I understand the weather issues. New England feels no more like spring. In fact, if early LAST week had been spring I would have believed that. But this weekend and today is FRIGGEN COLD!
Magpie: I am sending happy vibes your way...only 6 hours left of your sucky work day and I am PYSCHED to find out how your ultra sound goes. Be sure to keep us posted. I have a whole WEEK of TORTURE!!!

I'm in on the opposite day, although I am laughing about it. It's one of those days that I should have stayed in bed! I even tried to get out of the house and everything that could have happened did...
1. I temporarily lost almost $3k worth of checks. Scared the hell outta me.
2. I was late for the recycling center, so it's all still in the trunk of my car waiting on me to take it tomorrow. Fun!
3. I was in line for Starbucks (I've been trying to go caffeine free & didn't make it today) when I realized that I didn't have my wallet or any cash. Kindly, the guy at the drive thru gave me my Peppermint Mocha for free when I offered to drive home and get my wallet, after I explained my "world's biggest dork" story to him.
4. When I got home, I found the checks and the wallet happily lying next to each other by the computer!
But it's been a beautiful day, despite the cold rain. My DH is coming home from TX tomorrow. My 2 1/2 year old DD fell asleep in my lap, snuggling with me. I e-mail Starbucks and told them about their very kind employee who made my day.

I'm feeling pretty upbeat lately too. I'm tired but that's it. Baby isn't kicking hard yet it's just kind of bumping around in there. The best thing is that the sun has been shining (quite unusual in MI, lol). I'm almost half way there. I have my u/s in a few weeks (we are waiting until 22wks, long story).
