Questions for the anesthetist?

I am having a VBAC this time, but am admittedly no longer a low-risk client.

Because of this, and the misery of attempting to anesthetize me last time, I have a consult with the anesthetist at the hospital next week. I am trying to think of questions to ask him that are more constructive than just "What can we do to make this go more smoothly than last time, should I require another section?"

Hm. I can't imagine that you don't have opinions of your own about what would make it more smoothly than last time. Maybe you could share some of those opinions with him to open a dialog about what your options will be should you require another section?
